I IMPLORE YOU
I IMPLORE YOU: How easy is it to be a nation distracted by the next film
to hit the theater or next game to come out; to be sucked into the
debate of Android v.s iPhone and who's wearing Vuitton or Gucci? My, how passionate we can get. Instead, for just a moment I implore
you look up, to open your eyes and not just see but feel the reality taking place around you. Instead, get passionate for the lost children, not just here in
America but around the world. FEEL your fellow people and recall
any bit of empathy in your being to think past this selfishness that
has a nation of people so very blind to what's going on around the world
past this superficial, individualistic, corporate, social media bubble we
often willingly or unknowingly succumb to. For a moment, connect to
every great thinker who thought to evoke more meaning into our lives,
for every great song that grabbed you and held on tight; for each and
every real human moment and emotion you've had... reach for it... hold on to it like
a lifeline and with it, connect with others so that they too can
share in this collective remembrance of what it's like to truly CARE and
be cared for past nations, languages and borders. Remember what it
means to be a genuine person, a good person, a person who stands up
for whats right in the world; not because it's easy, but because
someone needs to. Be 'that' person! Look up, open your 'eyes' and feel with the very essence of who you are and what you wish to become. 🙏🏽😔

Suspended Through Time & Space
I have meandered thousands of arduous miles
throughout the complex terrain of my mind and after this wearisome
sojourn find myself sitting at the edge of the highest cliff in
companionable silence with the
unassuming timelessness of the moon. In this covetously sacred moment,
while fondly observing the flirting banter of twinkling stars, the
incessant voice of contemplation and endless exploration... this
intricate quest of modalities is stealthily silent; almost impatiently
hovering at the outskirts of this transitory, delicate bubble of safety.
The only thing that exists is the 'now' and within this moment of
'now' I am meditatively at peace. Gazing up in awe and wonder at our
galaxy I lie back on my cliff and ever so tentatively let go of the
burden of our past and the challenging struggle of our future. Suspended
through time and space I am neither here nor there. I just am.

ANTHOLOGY OF A GIRL WITH NO NAME
It All Starts With A
Thought
1/26/12 2:10 A.M
Awake in the early morning hours once more and with only my
thoughts for company I reflect upon my past and ponder my future.
Why is it I’m here, where I am today? How is it that I’m
sitting on this bed, in this room with these thoughts?
Does it all come down to some great meaning, some larger
than life plan? Have my experiences shaped me for something more than I can
currently fathom?
Often I’ve contemplated the intricacies of, “The Cycle of
Life;” to live, to learn, to feel and to love.
Does it all break down to science or is there more to life
beyond my realm of understanding?
Yes, we are all connected. Even quantum physics says so, but
to what extent and why? The how’s and whys seem to go perplexingly unanswered.
Something in me says I stand for something more, something
greater - something wonderful. Is it not relative though? And will it matter in
the larger scheme of things?
Even as a child I’ve felt as if I’ve lived a thousand
lifetimes. Is that possible? Is there some memory in my DNA that allows me to
feel this way and if so, to what purpose?
So many unexplained emotions, sensations, and need for
something beyond the average life.
I feel it… I always have.
Therefore is it so?
It seems I have been waiting my whole life for something……
But what?

Dirt Roads Lead To Home
A child falling asleep in the back seat… no worries or
care.
Lulled by the familiar twists and turns on the dirt road they
instinctively knew led to home. To
family, comfort and security…. Where the hallways reoccurringly echoed with
life.
How did I come so far from the comfort of that car ride? How
is it that I find myself existing in a world where that ride has now instead
become a solo journey throughout life?
Gone is the perpetual bantering of siblings and in its place
a radio station to appease the empty silence.
I once opened our door to warm light and constant household
activities.
Now, I simply open my door to quiet darkness.
There is a difference in falling asleep knowing the only
breath to be had is your own. It catches in loneliness.
Remember tiptoeing through the house so no one would hear
you sneak into the kitchen for a midnight snack?
Now there’s no one to hear your footsteps. No home made meal
awaiting your arrival or light scolding to get ready for dinner. Who knows
either way…. who cares. Gone are good night kisses or someone to hug when
you’re feeling down.
Remember meandering into your sibling’s room just because….
Gossiping and giggling late into the night.
Now they’re more distant than the miles or states that
separate you.
Who are they even anymore? I don’t even know… when so long
ago we fell asleep together on that well-known drive to that place we all
called home.
What is home now but a vague memory of time long gone.
I tentatively reach out in the darkness for a love that will
feel like home. But each door is the wrong one… each key the wrong turn and I’m
getting so tired and weary.
So, I find myself almost lost and in limbo….not able to fall
asleep as that child did in the back seat on a
drive down the twists and turns of that familiar dirt road….

Speeding Down A Lonely Road With Blindfolds On
I walk a lonely road.
I've got no eyes to regulate, no voice to slow me down, no kiss to make me care.
So I'll go the highest speeds and take the sharpest turns. I'll go at life hard and when it gets tough just keep going until exhaustion has it's way with me. This I wait for like a solitary reprieve when transitory peace sets in and sleep takes over. In this land maybe things are different. And maybe it's not. I'm pretty sure I cry even in my dreams but that's life, so I keep going.
I've lost hope that when looking into the eyes of others I would find a response worth recognizing.
And I want to throw this game out the window because it's become quite pathetic really. I've got black books for my black books and love notes falling out of both. And none of it equates to more than momentary distractions. Vague mirages in a dessert of empty promises.
They say you find it when you least expect it. They say, when you stop looking is when it happens. Well I'm at an accelerated speed with blindfolds on down an intersection with broken street lights and it's past time for a change.

Breathing Color & Swimming Through A Galactic Matrix of Green Sea
Fireworks of sound are your visual portal to a galactic ocean in a sky of northern lights. There is such beauty in this sea of color and emotion; this living and thriving matrix of green wonder that softly tickles every atom of your being with light kisses. Breathe in the sound as you reach out to play with its notes on a magical ride of exploration and exhale color while your soul dances and flirts with the carpet of stars like a shadow into the next dimension; your parallel universe.

New Shores
With a glance toward the churning sky and through blurry lenses I take in the sound of rumbling thunder that mirrors the turbulence of my emotions. Swelling to the surface, tears barrel salty waves inside my chest, ready to break the walls that stoically attempt to confine them. With a deep breath and firm resolve I reach out to steady myself in this rocky sea until my bare feet firmly touch solid ground once more.
I slowly close my eyes and fall to my knees as darkness envelopes like a warm blanket of protection.
The cool breeze softly kisses my teary cheek with a silent caress of promise. A hazy promise that inspires a flicker of a smile. I open my eyes and gaze up at the expansive carpet of blackness when I notice a twinkling. A lone star impishly winks at me as if he's seen my story before and knows everything will be alright...and somehow, I think it will be.
Washed up on new shores i rise up with my fresh resolve and determinedly set forth to openly embrace this new adventure.

Bottled Sunshine
I stare at my blank canvas frustrated at the lack of response from
my fingertips to the keyboard. I’m playing in a fast forward game and I
want to push pause for a moment. Rest against the bark of a tree and
just be. To pause for the sunshine, blue skies. A pause to listen to the
blue jay cry. A pause to take a deep breath and remember... How the
stars twinkle and shimmer in the night sky, soft breeze goes by. It
makes me want to cry really, such poignant moments in a life that’s too
short by far like a walk in the park. There goes another shooting star I
didn’t see. Breathe deeply now, One... Two... Three.........*Sigh*
I close my eyes and I pause for the moment. Don’t want to lose it. Too precious to let go of, like a lost love. I keep it with me like bottled sunshine. And in the confines of darkness it glows like a kiss. Remember it says....
Remember to pause.
I close my eyes and I pause for the moment. Don’t want to lose it. Too precious to let go of, like a lost love. I keep it with me like bottled sunshine. And in the confines of darkness it glows like a kiss. Remember it says....
Remember to pause.

Infinite Sadness
For lack of a better word and keeping it simple I'm just plain sad.
I'm sad that nation's are run the way they are, that corporations and the bottom dollar prevails, that wars are waged for the wrong reasons, that money or the lack there of instills fear and perpetuates anxiety, that the ecosystems fragile balance is threatened by humans careless neglect, that children are still starving in a world where there's plenty of food for all, that families are more broken than not, that everyone feels so damn alone when the population is larger than ever before, that people can't appreciate the beauty that extends just past their concrete walls, that animals can be treated so inhumanely.
That some how. ... On some innate level. .. We have all lost a connection to something more important and wonderful. .
Because of this, I am infinitely sad.
So I sit here by the ocean weary ...... waiting... for something.

Someday
Someday when you're you're all alone
I will be there, cause your hearts my home
Someday you will know
But for now,
you'll see just a glimpse of what may be
And on that day, when you're all alone
Will you remember your hand in my own
Cause on this day it will be
The passage that brings you to me

Time To Live & Time To Hope
Who would have known
that hope comes at a cost?
It rises up like a
phoenix from the ashes of the lost
No reset, no rewind – never
mind
What is time, anyhow?
Nothing but
perception- such a misconception
There is no before or
after in the segments of space
The cognition of time
is a relative race against nothingness
A reality that
dissipates without active consciousness
Day by day, it is we
that make up this story and rhyme
A concept we abide to
our lives through
An endless cycle is what it comes to
If only I could give
you two gifts
I would impart a new
reality
Where time is
limitless and hope is its companion.
Time to live and time
to hope.
Phantom Man
Where are you
Phantom man-
In some other land
In my ever dreams- It seems
You endlessly evade me
Searchingly and seemingly,
I see you In a mist of quantum seams
I scream silently for you
But I wake up and wisps
Of smoke choke the silhouette
Of what could be
And back you fall Into my dreams.
Phantom man-
In some other land
In my ever dreams- It seems
You endlessly evade me
Searchingly and seemingly,
I see you In a mist of quantum seams
I scream silently for you
But I wake up and wisps
Of smoke choke the silhouette
Of what could be
